Una lancha partió de San Pedro Laguna con destino a Santiago Atitlán naufragó debido a los fuertes vientos que azotan al departamento de Sololá. Las 15 personas que iban a bordo resultaron ilesas.
Otras embarcaciones se acercaron para trasladar a las personas que ocupaban la embarcación dañada a tierra firme.
